THE INITIAL BODY OF THE MANUAL

The Manual is divided into four sections. Each section contains: 
•  the thesis proposed by the editors of the Manual
•  in-depth articles, proposed by the authors that participated in developing the Manual, to discuss, deepen or broaden the arguments contained in the theses.  

Here is the initial body of the Manual. This schema is open to adaptation and changes suggested by the participating authors. The theses announced will be published progressively on the website, and can be modified based on contributions received. Also the in-depth articles will be published progressively.

 The dimensions of development: local, national and global.
 Strategic programmes and criteria for evaluating a good practice.
 The funding of development: utilizing existing sources.
 A critique of the utility of the project cycle and the logical framework.
 

SECTION 3: Action strategies

These titles have still be articulated in a series of theses

Government participation and democratic development: public administration, programming and financing development, territorial management, justice, security and international relations.
Environment: rational use of natural resources, infrastructure, technology, earth, energy, transport, water, production and waste management.
Culture: communication, information, education, school systems, knowledge, culture, training and creativity.
Economy: rational use of available resources to better serve humankind’s needs, production, distribution and utilization of property and services, market, jobs, currency, exchange and trade.
Social protection: solidarity, health, allocations, services to people, to families and to the community.

This section is organized according to an Introductory thesis for each discipline to encourage the contribution of experts and researchers who wish to rethink their work according to a notion of development based on rights and equal opportunities.
